UrgoClean Absorbent Dressing Pads have been created using poly-absorbent fibres, designed to trap sloughy residue, which is then absorbed and retained within the dressing structure to allow for easy removal and to prepare the wound for improved healing. The polyacrylate fibres in UrgoClean are highly absorbent, forming a gel upon contact with exudate to ensure effective vertical absorption without lateral spread. It can absorb up to 1700 grams of exudate per square meter, matching the absorption capacity of hydrofiber and alginate dressings.
