Aquacel Ag+ Silver Extra Dressings (Multiple Sizes) (x1, 5 or 10)

Aquacel Ag+ Silver Extra Dressings employ two advanced technologies to overcome challenges in wound healing, such as exudate, infection, and biofilm. The Ag+ Technology features unique ionic silver that removes biofilm, destroys various bacteria, including antibiotic-resistant strains, and prevents new biofilm formation. The dressing also consists of two layers of Hydrofiber Technology stitched together, making it stronger and more absorbent than the original Aquacel Ag+ Dressing. This enhanced version is ideal for managing moderate to highly exuding wounds and is approved for the same uses as the original Aquacel Ag+ dressing.

Aquacel Ag+ Silver Extra is designed with two-dimensional strengthening fibres integrated into the dressing. Although these fibres are made from the same base material as the standard single layer Hydrofiber Technology, they do not gel upon contact with fluid. Instead, they retain their structure and become surrounded by the gel, providing added strength and facilitating easy removal of the dressing.
