Its perforated form allows exudate to transfer to a secondary absorbent dressing, effectively reducing the risk of maceration.

In addition, Mepitel has an extended wear time of up to 14 days, facilitating continuous wound healing while maintaining structural integrity and residue-free removal. Its flexible structure allows for simple application challenging areas, and its compatibility with negative pressure wound therapy and supplementary gels/ointments increases its versatility in wound management.
